We really liked the ambiance as a first impression. They even have a small staged area for pictures. We ordered the classic milk tea, milky strawberry, and mango bubble tea which they offer a nice array of drinks and sweetness levels. We also ordered the berry waffle and the seafood lover both were delicious and generous inclusions. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly and nice. The prices were reasonable for the great quality that was offered. We really enjoyed coming here and would highly recommend for anyone interested in trying bubble tea or waffles.
I’ve been here a couple times now, usually with the kids after school. The real fruit smoothies with boba are great! I crave them. We’ve had a couple waffles and a crepe as well. The crepe was good. The waffle itself was good. The only thing I might avoid would be the fried chicken. It was on the dry and chewy side. The waffles themselves though are really nice and fluffy. I really like the fruity or chocolate ones.
This isn't a typical place I would frequent but I wanted to bring my niece and daughter to try it out. Now it's a place I will absolutely frequent. We've been twice and have tried the chicken and waffles, the garden medley, the Nutella, the cheesecake, and the plain waffles. We've also had about four types of boba drinks but my go-to is the classic milk tea, half sweet, with tapioca boba. I'm not into sweets much but the kids were dying over their sweet waffles. I liked the chicken and waffles but prefer a more crispy chicken. The garden medley though was amazing and unexpected. I would have never paired greens, tomato, mozzarella, and Italian dressing on a waffle but it freaking works. The bacon was perfectly cooked. It was delicious. Also, I get a lot of boba and this one was on point, light and the boba seemed fresh.
Oh I love boba tea!! This place has all the different flavors of pearls. The staff is so friendly and the location is cute. Ample seating bar and table. We had the chicken and waffles, and were not disappointed! Fluffy waffle and crispy chicken. I got a Thai ice boba tea, it was fantastic! We will be back to try their sweet waffles and more flavors of bubble tea!
Bubble Bear was a great find on a random stop in Newberg. Thought we just getting bubble tea and smoothies, and was pleasantly surprised by a variety of sweet and savory waffle combinations. Resisted the chicken and waffles and went for the bacon and waffles which came with sausage and sliced avocado. The waffles were perfect: fluffy and semisweet. The ladies were super friendly and we appreciated the great service. Will definitely remember this place.
Very good bubble tea! I like how the menu wasn't too much or too small. Waffle options look like they're all tasty too. We will be coming back to try a different flavor each time. Love the ambience and very family friendly shop. Super cute decorations, free water and a small selection of free board games to play. Loved it all! Would recommend to anyone needing a snack. 💕
I can't believe I haven't written a review for here yet! I've been going since they opened, and am always astounded with the consistent quality. The people are always nice and welcoming. The the waffles are stellar! I am always raving about this place to those around me, and you should go to!! If you aren't a boba person, they have great options without, but come for the waffles!
I've been a huge fan of Bubble Bear ever since it opened in 2022, and I've frequented this establishment often since then. They're waffles are amazing! My favorites are the Creme Brulee and Lemon Cheesecake.
The best boba I’ve had from Vermont to Hawaii. I call places like this the ‘Trifecta of Five Stars’ Amazing food, Amazing service (and cleanliness), Amazing value. -Food and drinks are consistent -Full breakfast, treats or just drinks -To go orders are easy -Gluten free options (but be forewarned that equipment is not gluten free) Overall—One of those little, cool places that you’ll get excited to go back to.
We ordered the MEAT! waffle, the Nutella waffle, as well as the Chocolate Milky & the Brown Sugar Coffee with Tapioca. Everything was so good but I was especially surprised by the coffee with tapioca, it was SO good. They have such a great selection of savory waffles, sweet waffles, and beverages. There is something for everyone. Will be coming back for sure! 🌟👏🏻
